San Francisco International Airport to Prohibit the Sale of Water in Plastic Bottles

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) announced plans to prohibit the sale of water in plastic bottles effective August 20, 2019. This move will require all airport retailers, restaurants, airline lounges, and vending machines to sell or provide water in recyclable aluminum, glass or BPI-certified compostable bottles. Vistara to Remove Plastic Bottles from Its Flights

In its pledge to reduce usage of plastic, especially single-use plastic, Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier, plans to remove all individual-sized 200ml water bottles from its flights.
